Power Blackjack

Power Blackjack is a popular variant of blackjack played at certain online casinos. The game is based on the European Blackjack where the dealer is given 1 card only to start with. There are two extra features which adds twists to the standard game.

First, there is the Power double which gives you a second chance if you don’t like the card. Power doubles are only available on initial values of 9,10 and 11 though. With all other initial vales you can still use the standard blackjack double.

The second rule is the power split. You can power split any 15 or 16 hand. For example, you can split and 10 and a 5 and get two new hands. You cannot do this if one of the cards is an ace though.

To balance the game, the game is push if the dealer gets 22. Still Power Blackjack does have an expected payout of 99.7%.

Other rules are pretty standard.

• Double down on any 2 cards
• Double down after split is available
• Only 1 card with split aces
• Only one split allowed though.
• Dealer stands on all 17 including soft.
• Game is played with 6 decks which are shuffled after every hand
